It is very obvious Britain can not afford the Olympics; we need only look at the Greenwich Dome to see how those massive projects lose money.

auction it off.just drop it altogether and accept the suspension from the olympic committee

It took many years for the UK to capture the
Olympic games plus the Paraplegic games
so reneging on them would go against all
what the games stand for.We could go cap
in hand & ask other country is to bail us out,
but no that would not be good for us or
for Great Britain.The lottery could be another
source of income by them suspending all
other donation to deserving recipients.
However how or where the funding comes from
the United Kingdom must not lose these
prestigious Olympic Games,they must not be lost
to us.

hello cam. great question. well no city has ever auctioned off the right to host the olympics, & they must be able to afford it, & they would get money back from it from tourism & tickets when the olympics does start. l know what u mean that after the event the stadium will probably just go to waste, but l think they should maybe turn the swimming pool into a public one, loads of people would want to swim in a pool used by their heroes. who knows what they will do. hope l helped
