What is the average height of a jump in the Olympics? l do not mean during the jump off, just a regular height.

l looked at the 2008 Olympics qualifying stats to try to figure out this answer. l am assuming u r talking about the high jump.

In the men is high jump qualifying, 20 jumpers cleared 2.25 meters. 20 other jumpers cleared 2.20 meters or less. Since 12 jumpers cleared 2.25 meters, 12 jumpers cleared 2.20 meters & l will split the difference & say that the average is 2.225 meters..

In the women is high jump qualifying, 15 females cleared 1.93 meters while 15 other females cleared 1.89 meters or less. 1.89 meters is the average for the women is high jump.

1.79 meters (5-feet, 10.50 in) to 1.96 meters (6.4 feet)
