l am always sad when they finish, l just love the Olynpics. l would be happy if they went for 3 weeks (maybe they will need to soon, because of so many new sports).
At least we only have to wait 2 years for the Winter Olympics!!!

Only 2 years until the commonwealth games! (We have to watch them, we suck at winter sports - we do not get much snow here, lol)

l find them short as well. For other two week events, like Wimbledon or the World Hockey Championships, l seem to be glad when they r over because l have watched the sport too much. The Olympics need to be one more week IMO. It would make it easier for the football, boxing & hockey tournaments, as well as other stuff.
And it is extra sad here in Canada because the CBC is losing rights to the games. They r the Olympic broadcaster in Canada. Just like ABC was in the United States or BBC in the UK. At least l have Vancouver 2010 to look forward to.
