dunkings never been really recognized outside of basketball but look at the vids, it is a sport/art form that takes incredible strength, athleticism, coordination, body control and creativity. Will the olympics comitee ever think about letting it be an event?

nope. never. if they can not even keep baseball and softball a sport, l doubt dunking will ever get in.

No. l do not think so. There are many other sports out there lining up to be listed in the Olympic. For example, squash, golf..etc
l personally think that 28 categories is a little too few. Perhaps 32 will be much better. Then, there might be dunking in Olympic..

wow that is like the dunk contest in during the NBA all-star weekend, and those are always the best, l would love to see that as an Olympic sport but l do not think it would ever happen

l love dunking and dunk contests but it should not be an olympic sport because there is no standardized way of judging it. All sports that use judges are subject to scrutiny, but at least they have set standards in figure skating and gymnastics. Who is to say if one windmill dunk is more correct than another?
