l think Rio has a good chance for 2016, because no country from South America has ever hosted the Olympics.
As far as 2020, there r too many candidates to make an educated guess, but Europe was in 2004, & Asia was 2008, so maybe Canada has a shot since they last hosted the summer games in 1976, & The U.S. hosted the games in 1996.
The I.O.C. likes to rotate the site around to different parts of the world, which makes it unlikely that Asia will be the host again in 2016, or 2020.

l think Chicago will get 2016. It is close between them and Rio, but Brazil will JUST have the World Cup 2 years earlier..
l do not know about 2020, l hope India.

Rio would really have their clean up their act in order to host the Olympics. l can not imagine the IOC would look at their crime rate & say let is bring thousands of tourists there! l read somewhere that the very wealthy do not even travel by car, they fly, because of the carjackings. Even Pele (famous futbol player) was robbed by gun point when his car had stopped at a red light.
As for India, with the flooding & the catastrophes that summer weather brings, that would also be a questionable choice.

2016 - Tokyo - Rated really high; no way Olympics go to Europe 3 straight times (2012, 2014, 2016); I'd like to see Rio though.
2020 - Toronto - They were really close in 1996 and 2008.

2016 Olympics - Rio De Janerio (World is supporting it & Since South America never hosted any Olympics,It is clear favourite).
2020 Olympics - Delhi,India (It got backing of 2 Olympic hosts - london & sydney & since Olympics should gather more money like Beijing due to huge population & also huge urban population).
Melissa B,If flooding & castatrophes decide Olympic hosts,then how China got to host Olympics?Before 2 months of hosting Olympics,China suffered a huge earthquake that destroyed many cities.Yet it hosted Olympics in great way.So use some common sense & do not show to world that why Gen-Next of developed countries r ignorant.
