When India won 3 medals,they all started saying 1.1 billion population and 3 medals.Common man,we are not americans,british or australians who are provided with world class infrastructure and we are also not Chinese who will start picking medal prospects at age of 6 because unlike China,here human rights organizations will allege child abuse.

It is very unfair how the people in general, & Y!A users in particular, make Indians their punching bags.
According to me, they r misinformed about India. They have probably just heard the faults of the country, & r emphasizing them, & thus they have concluded that India is pathetic in everything, that includes sports.
l have visited India a few times. Yes, the place is pretty dirty, but not all of it. And the people is attitudes r lovely. They r extremely friendly & helpful.
India has come up in various fields, like Medicine, Science, Technology etc.
Everyone can not be good at everything.
l do not know about the conditions in India regarding sports training, so l cannot comment on the last four lines of ur question details.
India is a wonderful place, with lovely people. All it needs is some empowered minds to take their country is name to greater glory.
