l think they relaxed the rules to allow pros, but you can compete as an amateur

the olympics is suppose to be an amature thing but countrias have turned it in to a big pro thing. any way yes you can you just need to be at the set age and go to the pre round wich is how you become part of ur countries team

Do not think of this as ''amateur'' and ''pro''. No matter what your label is, you still have to compete in your regional events and qualify for the national events, and then qualify for the Olympic Trials. There, you have to place to make it to the Olympics.
