l am going to begin tumbling in a couple of days... l have not been in anything else and im 13.. l know how to do a standing back tuck.. and a wall flip.. any ideas?

You will probably learn the basics like a handstand, cartwheel, and a round off. They might also try to teach you a Back handspring. Good Luck it is a lot of fun and remember that in a gym you tumble on a spring floor and it gives you more bounce. Do not try it on grass because it will absorb your rebound.

Well the coaches may change your techniques if you've been self taught. If you have a lot of previous experience then you will probably show them what you can do and they will work on that. They will start you off on cartweels and handstands and show you the correct techniques. You should start practising now so that when you go you can spend less time on the basics and more time on the funner tricks.
