Hello everyone ! (It would be better if you're a Chicago citizen)
l would like to know your personal opinion about the ''2016 Olympics in Chicago,'' (if hosted in Chicago.)
In your point of view, will the outcomes be positive or negative (advantages/ disadvantages)?

The disadvantage would be all the congestion & traffic during the Olympics. And nobody would get any work done bc everybody would be attending the events. But overall, it would be great for Chicago & American tourism. Presently, Chicago has to ask American tourists to visit in the middle of winter. Yeah, they have actual tv ads saying that there r no crowds in the restaurants. Yup, no crowds because in the middle of winter, it is freezing & few ppl visit Chicago. With an Olympic venue, ppl will visit Chicago in droves, just to see the buildings.

For poorer, less developed nations the Olympics improves infrastructure (eg roads, electrical supply), boosts industry & attracts tourists. New companies will set up to etc. l am a Brit & l personally think the London plan is foolish, everything will be in one set place in London despite the fact that there r perfectly acceptable venues thoughout GB, ie the Velodrom in Manchester, football stadiums up adn down the country & a new Olympic sized swimming pool in Sunderland (really far north (4 hours form London by train)). London does not need TWO olympic stadiums (Olympic adn Paralympic if u wanted to know), what about the brand new, seriously overbudget Wembly Stadium (in London)? If Beijing can hold the Olympics but have events in Hong Kong, why can not London share it is development with the rest of GB? Why not save the money to improve service during the games?
