everytime l do a front or back flip in the pool l get water up my nose. l sometime hold my nose when l do a flip and then l wont get water in my nose. but l am joining a swim team and l cant do flip turns while holding my nose. can someone please tell my how l can do flips in the water without getting water up my nose and not using nose plugs?

while you are flipping and before you get the water in your nose, push air out of your nose really hard so that water cant get in, l know, l get water in my nose too, also i'm scared of doing backflips because your upside down for a lil while

make sure your making a good full rotation before entering the water. or your prolly trying to make a final breath before going in and its still making it in your nose. just breath out a little after entering. if that doesnt work idk.. worked for me, l had problems with 360 Double is with water in my nose.

l had the same problem. BLOW and l mean BLOW out of your nose. It really helps. l thought that it would not but you just have to keep blowing out of nose. It does not have to be a hard blow the whole time just blow it. even lightly would work. So as you are doing it at first take a deep breath and then start doing the flip and blow out and when you are done you do not have any water in you nose.
