What US city do you think would be best suited to host the Summer Olympics

The Usa have hosted 4 olympics since 1980, 2 summer, 2 winter..

so my answer is NONE for a very long time as l do not believe any one country should get to host either the summer or winter games more than once every 50 or so years.

the USA have already had MORE than their fair share of hosting the games in recent times.. l hope Chicago does not get them in 2016 for the same reason. the olympics r an international event, not just another date on the US sporting calender.

Its time for other countries to have a go..

Houston!!! =D who cares if the Olympics has been in the US four times or w/e. We want more!!!

Late June the days have well over 19 hours of sunshine.
Events could be spread out over a longer time during the day.
Hours of media coverage could be improved.
The mosquitoes might even nullify any attempts at blood doping.
Perhaps with a bit of planning the Olympic village & some facilities could pull double duty & also host a Winter Olympics before or after.

Hosting the Olympics is in many ways analogous to hosting a neighborhood party. There is an expense & burden to make things ready, clean things up, prepare the space, host the event, clean up after it is done, & then pay the bills. Some homes r better suited to have a party. Some folks delight in hosting. That is not to say that every party has to be there. In fact they do like to get out of the house & see others as well. It is just that when there is a party to be planned, they r always there saying ''We can have it at my place. You r all welcome to come to my home.''

Im not american but l would say people love food and anyplace that has the best food ill be going :)
